What to know about wilderness camps

There are many kinds of wilderness camps offered throughout the United States, and many of them operate year round. Others operate during late spring, summer and early fall and can be located in warmer climates.

Most adventure wilderness camps reach full capacity during summer vacation time, and kids of all ages, from eight year olds to nineteen year olds, enjoy great summer activities and adventures.

A wilderness camp is one that takes kids out into the wilderness to experience all that Mother Nature has to offer. Most wilderness camps offer such activities as backpacking, horseback riding, hiking, canoing and mountain climbing.

Such activities are closely monitored and require each child to go through some training processes, and are very safe when practiced in the company of a certified camp instructor.

Wilderness camps can be found by location or by activity. There are wilderness camps located in every state within the United States, as well as in Canada, Europe and around the globe in such places like Australia, Mongolia and even Tibet.

Kids and teenagers around the world benefit from most wilderness camps experiences, and learn about their environment and how to survive in the wilderness. Others go to a wilderness camp for therapy, and psychologists and psychiatrists encourage troubled teens to go to a wilderness camp to find a sense of self and grow in confidence as they learn new skills.

There are religious based wilderness camps, which serve as retreats for church youth groups around the country and offer opportunities for kids to appreciate nature as a miraculous and well-balanced system of life. There are also Search and Rescue wilderness camps that teach teens and adults search and rescue methods and training in all kinds of first aid and survival skills that are used and needed when in the wilderness.

A wilderness camp can operate in the wintertime as well, and those who attend one during the cold season can expect loads of fun in the shape of skiing, snowboarding and ice or snow climbing. Summer wilderness camps located on coastlines offer snorkeling, surfing and boogie boarding activities, as well as beach Bar-B-Q fun and camp outs.

For those wilderness camps located in the mountains, kids can expect to enjoy white water rafting, kayaking and mountain biking activities, as well as fly-fishing, bass fishing or basic mountain climbing activities. Wilderness camps offer many city kids an experience of a lifetime out in the wilderness, where they can see stars at night and enjoy fresh air and sunshine by day. Most wilderness camps are moderately priced, and can be adapted to the skills and needs of your child. Many are within easy driving distance of most major cities.

Most wilderness camps have cabins and main dining rooms, though some offer tenting and open fire eating, depending on location and time of year. Wilderness camps offer children of all ages the opportunity to learn to appreciate the great outdoors, and to have a lot of fun in the process.

Lithuania casinos

Professional gaming as a professional business is relatively new for the Republic of Lithuania, but since 2002 when the first license was awarded to Olympic Casinos, they have proliferated throughout the country. Though most are concentrated in the capital city of Vilnius, there are casinos in the cities of Kaunas, Klaipeda, and Palanga, as well.

At the end of 2005, there were 57 land-based casinos, 142 betting salons, and 1 bingo salon in Lithuania, a growth of 46% over 2004. Income generated in 2005 was about 34.4 million Euros, according to the National Gambling and Gaming Business Association and the State Gaming Control Commission of the Republic of Lithuania.

The top casinos in Lithuania include: Aladdin Casino, Casino Planet, Grand Casino World, Casino Tornado, City Casino, Olympic Casino in the Reval Hotel, Los Patrankos, and Nese Casino.

Casinos in Lithuania offer slot machines, American roulette, poker, and blackjack, and many are open 24 hours. The casinos run from small, modest establishments to big, comfortable, lavish places, just as you find in other gambling meccas like Las Vegas and Monaco, with a comprehensive offering for both dabblers and serious gamblers.

When Lithuania joined the EU, tourism increased significantly, and now, visitors from across the continent and beyond come to Lithuania and are surprised to find quality service and a vast array of entertainment options, including gaming.

The only drawback to gaming in Lithuania is getting there. Since joining the EU, many plans have been put in place for both expanded rail and highway access, but the "Via Baltic" expressway has hit snags within Poland, which is unfortunate since 80% of tourists arrive by road. The outlook for expanded Euro rail service into Lithuania has been in the works, but the expense has pushed the prospects of high-speed trains from the West into the Baltic States many years into the future. Low-cost air service will probably become the second busiest method for tourist travel as two airlines have recently begun operation.

Of the top casino locations, Vilnius, as the capital of the Republic of Lithuania and largest administrative, political, economic, social, and cultural center, has, naturally, the largest concentration of gaming places.

Kaunas, with nearly 400,000 inhabitants, plays second fiddle in population, but many believe it is more charming because it is more purely "Lithuanian" than Vilnius. It is certainly one of the most significant cities of Lithuania and full of not only old traditions, but also home to a significant business and industrial center. It is also a city of youth, with over 35,000 students studying at one of seven universities.

Klaipeda is unique because it has been influenced by many countries over its long history and it seems that the strongest influence comes from Germany. Of course, there have also been Russian "visitors" at various times in history, and they have also left their footprints all over the city. The other big influence on Klaipeda is its coastal location at the mouth of the Curonain Lagoon, making it home to many a beach house providing a relaxing place to gamble.

Palanga is a year-round health resort, but it's famous more for its raucousness during the short Lithuanian summer that runs between June and September. The population balloons from a measley 20,000, to a whopping 100,000 or more, especially on the weekends. During the day, the sunbathers soak up the sun and at night the party animals take over. Palanga in the summer is the number one Lithuanian place to let loose and have fun.

For a small democratic country that has only recently been free from a strict Soviet iron fist, it has come a long way in a short period. Lithuania knows how important tourist dollars are and they are eager to make the gaming inustry work, though with protections to keep it both legitimate and thriving. It's one of the best kept casino secrets in the entire world, until now.

Golf basics - check your grip

First things first; if you’re going to take up learning the game of golf, the first thing that you actually and literally come in contact with is your golf club. So it seems only logical that we start with the grip.

Understanding and establishing a proper grip is your first step. The grip sets the tone for all else to come. A good grip allows you to swing your club with control during full swings with maximum speed. It allows for you to bring the clubface squarely through the impact zone, and determines how much you club face rotation you get.

You’ll want to find a grip pressure that allows you to deliver enough force to the ball without the club twisting at impact; yet you don’t want your hands and forearms overly tight and stiff.

Grip pressure was once described by Sam Snead as though you are holding a bird in your hands and you want to hold tight enough that the bird can’t fly away yet not so tight as to hurt the bird.

For our purposes here and especially you are just learning how to grip the golf club, we’ll discuss gripping the club with a neutral type grip (neither favoring a draw or a fade).

In this position the “V’s” created with the thumb and forefinger as you address the golf ball will point just to the right of your chin (right handed golfer). In fact, with this grip, someone standing directly across from you would see only the first two knuckles of your left hand. So, two knuckles of the left hand showing and your “V’s” pointing to just right of your chin and you have a neutral - traditional type golf grip.

With your forefinger and little finger that meet underneath the club grip; you can either choose to overlap these to fingers or you can interlock them; whichever is more comfortable to you and gives you the most confidence.

Hold the club more toward your fingers than back in the palm of the hand. We want to be able to get a good natural wrist cock.

When you are first just introducing a golf club to your hands, don’t worry about whacking golf balls right away. Rather, get used to the grip first. As you next begin to learn about address and set up, spend time just swinging the club back and forth and get used to how the club and the grip feel. Don’t worry too much hitting a ball at this early juncture.

Down the road of your learning curve just bit, you’ll no doubt become curious about ‘drawing’ and or ‘fading’ the golf ball. Drawing or fading the golf ball begins with your grip. Although drawing or fading your golf shot goes beyond the scope of this article, I want to touch on this as it relates to our discussion on the grip.

Remembering your initial neutral grip that we discussed; if you want to grip to draw the ball you’ll rotate your hands/grip slightly clockwise. In other words, this will produce a three knuckle grip... up from your two knuckle grip we talked about earlier. To grip to fade the ball, you’ll go a knuckle the other way. So, you will reduce your neutral two knuckle grip down one to a one knuckle grip.

I mention this, not to imply that you will want to immediately want to begin working your golf shots from right to left and left to right; rather I want to give you a basic understanding how the golf grip works first from the neutral hand position.

Start building your golf swing with your teaching professional by laying a good foundation that starts with - - - the grip.

Karate instructors six simple steps for scheduling your classes

One of the most important elements of a martial arts school’s operations is the class schedule. Deciding on an appropriate and effective schedule that matches the needs of your students and your curriculum can often be a very challenging task but if this is done right then the benefits are well worth the initial effort.

Have you ever had problems trying to design an effective schedule? If so, then this article is for you.

Here are the six simple steps for scheduling your classes:

1. Decide how you will arrange your classes. Will you organize your classes according to program, age, rank, or all of the above? Most schools have different programs such as a Little Dragons or Tiny Tigers program, a junior program and a Teen & Adult program. Often family classes are offered too as well as various other programs including a Leadership and an Instructor Training program.

The programs are usually structured by age but within each program are different levels such as beginner, intermediate and advanced. How you structure your schedule depends on the size of your school and your membership but the different programs directly affect the type of schedule that you need to offer.

2. Size of each class. How many students do you want to have in each class? For the 4 – 6 age group, 10 to 15 students in one class are enough. For the 7 – 12 age group, 15 – 20 students is a good size and for the teenagers and adults it is not usually a problem to go up to 30 students in one class.

There are other strategies for teaching more students in one class by using additional instructors and assistants or by implementing a rotating curriculum, but if you are on your own and your floor space is limited, it is probably best to stick to these suggested numbers per class.

3. Length of each class. How long will each of your classes be? Keep in mind that young kids have shorter attention spans and probably only need 30 minute to 45-minute classes. Older kids, teenagers and especially adults are looking for a good workout and will usually need at least an hour.

4. Decide how many classes you need. How many students do you currently have and how often do those students come to class each week? For example, if you have 100 students and the average student comes to class 1.5 times per week then you should plan your classes as if you have 150 students coming once per week. If you want 15 students in each class then you need 10 classes.

5. Available timeslots. When are you and your instructors available to teach? If you are operating a professional school, you will set your schedule based on which hours are best for your members. If you are running your program part-time through a community center or a YMCA and have volunteers as assistants, you may need to be more flexible when it comes to setting your schedule. Find out which hours are available and fit your lessons into those slots after you have completed steps 1 through 4.

6. Tracking methods. How will you track your attendance in each class so that you know which classes are working and which are not? Are you a state-of-the-art school with pre-printed membership cards and a scanner system? Do you use a name box system where the student hands his or her name card to the instructor or the desk person that day so that attendance can be manually inputted, or you do the good old-fashioned head count each class to get a feel for how many members show up each week?

Either way is fine but you do need some kind of method for tracking your attendance otherwise you have no idea which classes are working (i. e. well attended) or which classes are failing (i. e. the ones that have all but turned into private lessons for the same monthly tuition fee).

Golf swing ease warm up for tee time

Have you ever enjoyed those magic days where your body is in top form? Nothing hurts. You move, you swing and you putt like a well oiled machine. Yes! It's magic! And then there's the struggle days when the machinery grinds and groans like a rusty old tractor. Well, the good news is that you can look forward to a lot more of those magic days by adopting a few easy warm-up routines before tee-off. Warming up will be your super lubricant for the perfect game.

Warm-Up before You Tee Off - Your golf swing is directly related to your physical condition and the state of preparedness of your body. Given the sedentary lifestyles of many amateur golfers it is crucial to warm-up and stretch prior to tee off. A little dynamic exercise including forward and backward shoulder rotations, upper body twists and arm circles go a long way in imbuing your stroke with looseness and fluidity. Knee rotations are a great for loosening up the legs and ankles. Take a few minutes before tee-off to enjoy some of these simple exercises. You’ll warm up the proper muscles and joints essential for your golf. What’s more, you’ll enjoy the pleasure of much more ease, relaxation and looseness in your game.

Shoulder Rolls - Stand in a relaxed upright position with your arms by your sides, lift your shoulders as high as you can towards your ears as you inhale. Hold briefly in the up position and then move them down and backwards in a circle. You’ll feel the pull in your deltoids at the bottom of your circle. Repeat 10 times. Reverse and repeat 10 times in the forward direction.

Upper Body Twists – You can use one of your clubs as a prop in this one. Again from a relaxed standing position with knees slightly bent, hold the club with one end in each hand. Raise your arms above and behind your head and bring the club shaft to rest on the fleshy part of your shoulders just below the base of your neck. Maintain your arm position with respect to your chest and keep your gaze fixed in the forward direction. Slowly turn your torso until you feel a nice twist in your trunk muscles. You’ll notice it in your abs, and your oblique muscles. Hold for 1 second, release and rotate back through center and continue onwards to the right-hand side. Hold for another second and reverse. Repeat 10 times or as desired.

Arm Circles - Stand in an upright posture with knees slightly bent and your arms relaxed and initially by your sides. To execute backward circles, swing your right-arm clockwise and your left arm counter-clockwise. Your hands may overlap and at the top of your circle. Let you arms to brush your ears in the swing past your head. Allow your hands to brush the outsides of your legs at the bottom of your swing arc. Release any tension from your arms and hands and simply allow them to be loose and floppy through the exercise. Repeat 20 times in the backwards direction and reverse to the forward direction for an additional 20 repetitions. To really challenge yourself try swing both arms in the same rotational direction and see what happens e. g. try swinging both arms counter-clockwise and watch your brain have a hissy-fit.

Knee Rotations - Stand with feet together and knees slightly bent. Place your hands on your knees and rotate clockwise for 20 reps. Repeat in the counterclockwise direction.

The 5 Minute Difference - 5 minutes is all it takes to run through these simple warm-up exercises. You'll find they'll become pure pleasure and you'll enjoy the building sense of anticipation of a great game as you run through your routine. What's more, you'll enjoy much more ease, fluidity and consistency in your movement. Here's to shooting your lowest scoring, most comfortable rounds ever!

How do i make the most out of each and every training session

If you’re reading this article then you have probably already begun your study of the martial arts and in all likelihood have progressed through the first few belts. You now understand what karate is about and you are fully familiar with your weekly training schedule. The question that you may still have though is “How do I make the most out of each and every training session?” The following are some suggestions to help you answer this question.

There are several things that you can do to maximize your overall training experience, all of them are easy to implement, and will help you take your karate to the next level. I have presented these tips in a simple cheat sheet that you can post on your bulletin board and look at before each training session.

So here they are:

1.Go to class regularly – When it’s time for your next class, get up out of your chair and go straight to class. Do not pass go, do not collect $200, GO TO CLASS! Half the battle of karate is getting to class. Don’t lose this battle, or you are doomed to failure from the start.

2.Always give your best – Don’t ever accept anything less than your best effort. You are more than likely paying good money to attend your karate classes. Don’t waste your money, and especially don’t waste your time by being half-committed in your training.

3.Ask questions if you don’t understand something – You are the customer, you are paying your instructor to provide you with quality karate. Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand something. Any good instructor should be more than happy to answer your question, no matter how insignificant they may seem to others.

4.Set specific goals for your training and an appropriate timeframe in which to achieve them – Put this list of goals on your bulletin board (preferably next to this article!) and look at them every day or at least before every training session.

5.Write a diary of what you did in each class – OK, OK, I know this is a tough one, and yes I promised to keep it simple, but quite honestly if you do only this one thing I can personally guarantee that your karate will improve dramatically. There is nothing more valuable than keeping a written record of what you did each lesson to keep you on target and help you understand what you learned and where you need to improve.

6.Use your diary notes for your benefit – Oops there I go again, more work for you but hopefully you’re listening by now. A diary is not much use unless you re-read what you wrote and then find out the answers to any questions you had from each lesson. Remember tip #3, it’s OK to ask questions after the lesson too, or even before the next lesson.

7.Find a great training partner – There is nothing worse than going to class and then having to pair up with someone who doesn’t want to be there. Avoid these people like the plague! Find a good partner who shares your same goals and values and make sure you both know that you will work together at every opportunity.

8.Attempt to understand the overall theme of each class – Most good instructors have an overall theme or objective that is carefully woven into each class. Through the content of each lesson many greater insights can be gained by understanding how each content item relates to the overall lesson, and by understanding the general context of each class. This integration of big picture concepts helps to take your karate training to the next level.

So hopefully this quick cheat sheet will help you to glean some extra benefit and insights from each lesson and if nothing else it should serve to better focus your efforts on effective training strategies.

About the airsoft gun m84

The airsoft gun M84is a good example of a gas powered pistol that is built with quality. Using a .177 BB and weighing about 1.6 pounds it is a solid gun that feels good in the hand. Many people who are unfamiliar with the pistol version of the airsoft gun m84 will find that it is a great idea and is becoming popular in the airsoft market. For a beginner, it may be a little hard to aim being a hand gun but the CO2 gives the airsoft gun m84 better accuracy than it would if it was purely spring loaded or air pumped.

The airsoft gun m84 is built to one to one scale. It comes in gun metal black and costs in the neighborhood of seventy dollars. It may take some time to get used to but it is able to shoot the BBs at four hundred feet per second which with a lot of use can become more aimable and accurate. As with all airsoft guns, it must have an orange tip. This is a federal law that is in place to protect teens and children that have one. Without the orange tip the gun looks real and there have been instances where a police officer has shot and killed teens thinking that he was defending himself.

Airsoft Gun M84 Uses

Most people who buy the airsoft gun m84 will shoot targets and cans. It can be used for shooting gophers and other small rodents where there is a healthy population of rodents. In the American west, states like Montana and Wyoming have large areas for shooting without other people being in danger. Most people like the rifles because of the better accuracy, but using the airsoft gun m84 is definitely challenging to say the least.

The airsoft gun m84 is shippable so if people are looking to purchase this gun, it can be delivered to a home address. The address must be verifiable to the credit card address and the item cannot be shipped to a PO Box address. Each shipment must be signed for and cannot just be left in a mailbox or on the floor at the door. The airsoft gun m84 is a reliable shooter and will bring years of fun as it will stand up to much use. The new buyer should not become frustrated with the beginning accuracy. Over time it will become one of the most favored guns that a person uses. It will be a real head turner when it is mastered.

Finding the right type of climbing for you

Are you thinking of taking up the sport of climbing? It is surely an activity that is exhilarating and exciting. It’s not for everyone as it is a sport that is physically demanding and not for the faint of heart. Climbing is not simply one activity; there are many different types of climbing and many times a climb consists of two or more types of climbing. There is bouldering, free soloing, sport, traditional (or trad), aid, alpine, and ice climbing. Familiarizing yourself with these types of climbing will aid you in determining which you prefer and what type of climb is right for you.

Bouldering is climbing over boulders, as the name suggests. The only equipment required in bouldering is usually a “crash” pad to protect you against falls. While this type of climbing requires less equipment and training than other forms of climbing, there can be risks. Crash pads made of foam provide a cushion in case there is a fall. Sometimes a spotter is used who can move a pad if a climber falls; in essence catching the falling climber. There is no special footwear required for bouldering; traditional rock climbing shoes are generally used.

Free soloing is a type of climbing that is popular but more risky as very little equipment is used. There is nothing to aid your travel up the mountain or protect you from falls. Since it is done alone there is no one to administer first aid or get help in case there is an accident. Most instructors will tell you not to free solo especially if you or not an advance climber. There is still the appeal for those who are adventurous.

Rock climbing incorporates methods of trad climbing with the use of a standard rack. A rack is the set of gear the climber uses to perform the climb. The rack is made up of such gear as ropes, harnesses and pro (protection). The rack is used in different ways depending on the climb. In trad climbing it is almost entirely used to for protection against falling. With aid climbing the gear is used to perform the climb. For example, vertical climbing up a rock face with no holds requires the equipment to scale it.

Alpine and ice climbing is much different from other forms of climbing. You must be an experienced climber to enjoy this type of activity since it requires great skill and endurance. Not only will you generally be away from civilization for several weeks but you will be enduring extreme temperatures. For most enthusiasts, ice climbing is the ultimate experience.

Climbing consists of many different types of activities. While experience is needed for much of it, you can get started by joining a climbing gym and taking classes.

How to deposit at online casinos

Following the passing into law of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), it’s been difficult for US players to find safe, reliable methods to make deposits into their favourite casino, poker room or sports book.

Solutions exist, of course, but it’s not always easy to find a match-up between your chosen casino and preferred deposit method.

The biggest casualty of UIGEA was, of course, NETeller, which had dominated the market following the departure of PayPal. Both those methods acted as so-called ewallets – intermediaries that allowed customers to fund their casino accounts from their bank accounts, without the final recipient having to see their bank account details.

In the early days of online gambling, this was important as not all casinos could be trusted, and this ‘barrier’ served to increase customer confidence. These days, players have to be more trusting of the casinos they’re playing with. The advantage of this is that now very few disreputable casinos exist – the ones that remain have stood the test of time and can be seen as trustworthy.

So, what options do players now have? Credit cards, of course (though some banks will prevent gambling transactions), debit cards and instant bank transfer are the most obvious ones.

But in a classic case of necessity being the mother of invention, the casinos are finding more and more ways to allow players to fund their accounts. It’s beyond the scope of this article to give precise details on a method and casino basis, but casinos exist that allow easy financial transactions for US-based players that are completely safe and legal – if you know where to find them.

UIGEA was meant to be the end of internet gambling. Although it undoubtedly affected the market, with both casinos and players pulling out of the US, along with the payment processors, the core market that remains is both strong and vibrant.

There is a huge upsurge in online gambling expected when the so-called ‘baby boom’ generation start to retire. These people will be internet-savvy, have disposable income, and will resent being told that they can’t spend their money in a way that they see fit.

These people will demand to be allowed to gamble online if they so wish. The largest demographic for online gambling is the 45-65 female group, and this is a massive lobby that no Government should ignore. With ‘regime change’ expected in the USA in 2008, all involved with the online gambling industry are hoping for a more liberal attitude to an individual’s right to choose how to spend the money they’ve earned!

What the industry needs now is a number of payment processors that offer variety and choice to the consumers, whilst being 100% safe and reliable. These may come from the existing solutions or may be yet to be invented.

Whatever methods come to the fore in the next few years, one thing is certain: online gambling is here to stay. Players want - and deserve – quick, simple and secure methods of spending their leisure money that don’t require them to jump through hoops or act outside the law.

The sooner Government and industry can facilitate this, the better for all concerned.

Canadian casinos

Canada has gambling casinos just like those that are found in other parts of the world. On a population basis versus the number of casinos, they are extremely well represented. The Canadian casinos offer the full gamut of table games, slots, poker-rooms and sports books. The names are different than those found in the states or elsewhere, but the casino layouts are similar to what you would find in Vegas or Atlantic City.

Canadians have a long history of enjoying the world of gaming. It was a group of French Canadians that brought poker to early New Orleans. Gambling has been part of their culture for many years and casinos are not a new scene in major Canadian cities. Just across from Niagara Falls you will find one of Canada's better-known casinos. The World Poker Tour holds an event each year in Canada. That alone tells you that the casino picture in Canada is doing well and is healthy.

A player can find whatever game they want at Canadian casino table games. The avid slot player is not denied either. Many of the casinos offer several types of poker games including the most popular of all, Texas Holdem. Seven card stud and Omaha are also offered at some of the casinos. The poker rooms also offer satellite tournaments for some of the bigger poker tournaments as well as their own poker tournaments.

Most major cities in Canada have one or more casinos within the general vicinity of the city. There are also destination resorts that offer a Canadian get away as well as casino activity. In the old days Canadians flocked to Nevada casinos in such numbers that the casinos there offered special exchange rates to these tourists. This is no longer necessary with the number of casinos a gambler can choose from in Canada.

Gaming has made huge strides in the last few years throughout the world. Canada is no exception to this amazing growth of gaming and the casinos that offer the games. This coupled with the many other tourist attractions that are offered in Canada makes these resorts a welcome place to visit. Las Vegas is still king in the casino world, but the other places like Canada is making it easier for people to gamble closer to home. The urge to gamble is a well covered by the many Canadian casinos. If you are near a Canadian casino give it a try.

Skydive regiment from wwii to the middle east

Parachute regimental forces made a significant impact in WWII but also suffered great losses. Paratroopers were able to access areas that other areas of the air core could not. Both British and US forces implemented regimental battalions early on in WWII.

The parachute discipline airborne forces contribute significantly to traditional military operations in conflict situations

The parachute order is an elite unit that operates within the army’s airborne forces. Members of this elite army core are known as paratroopers.

Prior to their first deployment in 1941 the British had little experience in parachute infantry combat. Their theories were based on what other countries such as Germany had been doing with gliders. The US on the other hand had already begun to implement parachute disciplines into their battalions before the outbreak of WWII.

After the first attempts of the British in 1941 the use of paratroopers became more frequent. The airborne force became a significant weapon for the allied forces in WWII. Subsequently they have played a role in many conflicts including recent conflict in the Middle East.

The parachute infantry played a major role in overcoming the German onslaught in WWII. Many missions completed during this time by the parachute infantry were considerable damaging to enemy forces. The most successful parachute infantry mission in history is Operation Varsity. This was the largest force ever deployed by the para military. It was a major turning point in the war and marked the beginning of the German downfall.

The effectiveness of these troopers comes down to their ability to maneuver in areas of dense jungle. bush and other intrepid places. They can be deployed in over any area that a plane can fly which forces their enemies to focus manpower on eliminating this threat.

In order for the regiment infantry to maneuver in this way they are lightly equipped in terms of weaponry. They are highly mobile and intensively trained. Paratroopers have become a strong support for traditional forces and are able to provide a unique dimension to offensive and defensive military maneuvers.

Finding a quality triathlon swimming guide

Competing in a triathlon is something that takes a lot of training if you want to do it the healthy way for your body and your mind. It can be difficult to train for triathlon swimming as well as the other events if you have never done something like this before and you don’t have a trainer to help you out. What you need is to form a plan or find some sort of guide that will help you on your way to a successful experience if you do not have a well informed or experienced partner in this endeavor.

Perhaps you have been swimming competitively for years and you would simply like to up the ante a bit and see if you can take your swimming skills to a whole new level. Perhaps you have simply always enjoyed swimming and you’d like to condition your body doing things that you enjoy. Triathlon swimming is a wonderful way to condition your entire body. Whether you are just getting started with swimming competitively or you have been doing it for awhile, if you follow a great plan you can be competing, and perhaps even placing in competition before you know it.

So, where do you get this training and guidance that you need to do well and avoid injury? There are a lot of books written on this topic, but unless you know the author or you have a personal recommendation for the book, it can be difficult to discern which of the books is worth your time and money. If you aren’t a big reader, this definitely is not the way to go because you will probably have a hard time finishing the book and your body will require more than the time you have spent skimming a book to really get in good shape to complete triathlon swimming without injury.

A professional trainer to help with triathlon swimming is a great idea, but for most of us we simply do not have the money that it takes to pay a good trainer to really help us prepare for such a big event. So, where do most of us turn? To the Internet, of course! There is a lot of good information on the Internet about this subject, but you must be careful where you get your information from and how seriously you take it. Be sure to check the source of all of the information before you employ it. Simply put, you must use good sense and realize that a lot of the content on the Internet is not written by a specialist.

If you don’t want to fool around with bad advice and training guides, check out http://www. kineli. co. nz, as this is a very helpful website for those seeking information on triathlon swimming and other events, as well. Here you will find guides and training plans, as well as useful CD’s that can walk you through the process of training and can help you be the success you had always envisioned you would be. This is top rate information that even the pros would stand by.

Betting on horse racing sensible money management part 2

In a previous article I jokingly suggested I had put all my assets – my savings, the deeds to the farm, my kids’ Trust fund, and the proceeds from selling one of my kidneys – on a horse at Newbury. I showed this was potentially financial suicide, and an extreme example of bad money management.

I wrote that more often than not a losing punter will find himself saddled with a bunch of bad betting habits. It is these bad habits that have gotten him, and his betting bank, to where his is now – the Poor House.

To arrive at a change in fortune, and to start making consistent profits, the losing punter has to be prepared to make changes to the way in which he bets. In the previous article we talked about the cornerstone supporting my own personal betting strategy, and that is finding value in every bet you make.

You will only ever make a profit from betting if you consistently back horses at prices too high when compared to their actual chance of winning. This is exactly how bookmakers have made their money for generations – they consistently lay horses at prices too low compared to the actual chance of the horse winning. When punters continue to take these low prices day-in and day-out, it will only ever be the bookmakers who come out with a profit in the long run.

The second ‘bad habit’ I want to examine is the subject of inappropriate staking. What do I mean by staking that is not appropriate? Well, what I am driving at is placing bets that are generally too large in proportion to the size of your betting bank.

Before I expand upon this, the concept of a betting bank is a side-issue in itself. You categorically MUST have a sum of money put aside for the sole purpose of betting. It scares me rigid when I hear of people simply ‘dipping’ into their current account to place a bet using their debit card.

If you do not have a separate account for your betting activities, you cannot keep records, and you will not be able to answer that simple question, “Am I making a profit, or a loss?”

It goes without saying, that betting involves a degree of risk, and you should never bet with money you cannot afford to lose.

Getting back to inappropriate staking, the idea of lumping all your money on one horse is an extreme example of over-staking. Of course, on the one occasion this strategy may pay off. We had friends round a few nights ago to play one of those Race Night DVDs. I was comfortably in front by studying the form before each race, and placing considered bets at what I considered to be value prices. As you might imagine, I had a suitably smug expression on my face as we came to the last race, and our friends were complaining I enjoyed a ‘professional advantage’.

My wife then decided to put every penny she had left on an 8/1 chance. The race turned out to be the ‘lucky last’ for my wife, and she walked away with the whole bank!

But seriously, continue with these tactics, and it will not be long before you lose everything.

Personally, I would never consider starting any betting campaign with a bankroll of less than 100 points. In other words, I will divide my bank by 100 to arrive at my unit stake. You can see that I will only ever be putting 1% of my bank at risk when I place a bet.

This is a very generalised approach, and you might argue that a little more consideration should be given to a punter’s typical strike rate. True, if someone has a strike rate of 50% then it is statistically highly unlikely that he will suffer a run of 100 losers to go bust. So, in this case you might be justified in operating a smaller bank. Bear in mind that when flipping a coin, it is by no means unusual to see 6 or 7 ‘heads’ in succession, and losing runs in double figures do occur.

Erring on the side of caution, you could foresee two such losing runs occurring twice in close succession. In which case, I hope you can see that even when considering a system which such a high strike rate, having a bank of well over 20 points now seems very sensible.

With my own Redd Racing betting service, we enjoy what I would consider to be quite a healthy strike rate. However, we have experienced a negative swing of some 60 points during one particular month a couple years back. The account recovered to make a profit by the end of the month, but it underlined the importance of having a bankroll large enough to absorb the losing runs that EVERYBODY has to endure from time to time.

Indeed, it would probably be better advice if I suggested members of my service had a bankroll of 150 or even 200 points in reserve.

Yet I often receive emails asking me whether it is OK to deposit Ј100 with Betfair and start with unit stakes of Ј10.

Betting with stakes too high in proportion to your bank normally comes out of a desire to make money quickly. I think we are all guilty of getting overly greedy sometimes, and unwilling to think a little more long-term. People are inclined to set themselves unrealistic profit targets, given the size of their betting bankroll. Having a bank of Ј100 and expecting to be able to make Ј100 per month is not realistic. Get-rich-quick does not exist.

Akin to the Tortoise and Hare story, let me give you an example of where what might initially seem like a very moderate return, actually gives surprising results over time.

If you started with Ј100 in your betting bank, and increased this bank by just one-half of one per cent every day, after just 6 months your account would have a balance of Ј244 due to the compounding effect. You could more than double your investment in 6 months with this seemingly small daily profit return. Take that to your bank or building society and see if they can come anywhere near such a deal!

Hopefully this demonstrates how ‘slowly but surely’ wins the race.

To summarize, my advice would be to set your unit stakes at one per cent, or even one half of one per cent, of your total betting bank. By striking only value bets, and when the odds are in your favour, your betting bank will grow. As your bank grows, so you can naturally increase the size of your unit stake to make more profit – but your bets will still be in proportion to your bank.

In the next part of this Sensible Money Management series, I will look at more bad habits that suck money from the accounts of losing punters.

Slide in campers offer travel without limits

Among other things, freedom is the ability to go where you want to go, whenever you want to go there. While it is impossible to be truly free - there are places that are simply off limits - the freedom enjoyed by campers is often limited by their equipment and their transportation. If you own a massive RV you might have the luxury of all the creature comforts of home, but it comes at the expense of your freedom.

An RV is limited to the roads it can use, the places it can park, and even the campgrounds it can use. And when it comes to exploring uncharted territory, driving an RV is more than impractical, it is essentially impossible.

Conversely, backpacking hikers are free to travel anywhere their feet can carry them, but their feet can only go so far and when they get to wherever they're going all they have is what they could carry on their backs, and carrying large quantities of food or fresh water can be difficult or exhausting. When you explore camping options it is easy to conclude that when it comes to freedom and options in your outdoor recreation, only slide in campers can bridge the gap between hiking on foot and parking in your RV.

Slide in campers are exactly that; campers that slide into the bed of a pickup truck. It is the pickup truck power plant that gives slide in campers the access, range, and capacity that is not available in any other model of camper. When attached to the body of a powerful 4x4 truck, you can take your slide in camper just about anywhere your heart desires. You are not limited to the partitioned areas of a campground like an RV, nor are you excluded from parking lots and small roads either. You can go anywhere a truck can go, and trucks can go just about anywhere. You are only limited by your imagination and your supply of gasoline.

Slide in campers do more than just provide options and range in your travels, they provide comfort and protection as well. With roofs that often pop up to allow walking space, quality campers feel more like an RV than a camper, and they have the amenities to prove it. There is a lot more than a place to sleep in a slide in camper. There is also room to cook on a multiple burner stove, or store food in a fully functioning refrigerator. You can dine at a fold out table in your sitting area, or shower in a fully functioning and enclosed bathroom. You have room for everything you need, including surplus water, cooking gas, heater, and any toys you might wish to take along. A slide in camper makes long trips to remote places not only possible, but fun and convenient.

Once you find a model that will fit the truck you own you simply slide it in, attach it, and go. Whether you want to head into the remote wilderness, or wish to travel cross country without paying for hotels at every stop, slide in campers can provide the freedom to go where you want, when you want.

Soccer drills for u8

A soccer coach is just like a school teacher, but instead of working with theoretical information, his goal is getting his pupils to apply what he’s trying to get to them. Working with kids has a lot of advantages and it really gives you a sense of accomplishment when you see those little guys’ eyes shining when you throw them a ball and tell them to perform a fun exercise.

But at the same time, it can be extremely frustrating trying to get through with soccer drills for kids, mainly because kids have less understanding and concentration capabilities as a grown up, or a teenager (kids to make up for these shortcomings with their enthusiasm, energy and ability to learn faster).

So if you’re here looking for some soccer drills for u8s, the first thing you should know is that anything that you do, absolutely must be “fun”. What your kids understand by fun might differ from team to team, so it will be your job to see what they like doing.

You can’t try and explain soccer drills for young kids as you would for grown-ups. You can’t just tell them to give you 5 laps of the pitch, without a certain motivation in fun. Otherwise, you risk the youngsters losing interesting in training and quitting soccer.

When you ask a grown-up for 5 laps, you can tell him that it’s for his endurance, conditioning and so forth. Telling that to a kid will go in through one ear and leave through the other. So try to make everything seem like a game.

If you need them to run 5 laps, invent some sort of fun drill game, or just give them a reward afterwards, giving them a soccer drill that involves kicking the ball (it doesn’t matter if it’s a half-field match, some short passes or some 5 versus 2 groups, as long as your soccer drill involves the ball, the kids will love it).

Another big issue you’ll be concerned with in your soccer drills for U8 is not taking the fun away from the exercises. If you set up two teams and throw a ball in the middle and ask them to play soccer, the kids will all rush to it and chaotically kick it around. There will be no defenders, attackers or what not, it’s just a bunch of kids having fun.

Obviously, that’s not ok with you, because you want to infuse some sense of organization and tactics in them, even from such an early age. But if you just bluntly tell some of them to stay at the back, or not dribble, you’ll just take the fun away from them. What you need to do is, again, work around a reward-system that can help them understand why you want them to sit there and there, or not do this and that.

The rewards don’t have to be anything material. Even congratulating your guys when they manage to listen to your requests is enough of a reward for them. You’ll soon see them trying harder and respecting your requests not because you forced them, but because they’re striving for that “Good Job” congratulation coming from you.

A bit about bowling balls

Besides the money you’ll save by bringing your own gear, ball and shoes with you, why would you necessarily want to own a bowling ball? The reason is that having a ball of your own is the same thing as choosing the right bat when you’re playing baseball, or finding your own racket when playing tennis. These things aren’t going to make up for lack of skill, of course, but if you know your equipment inside and out you’ll be able to up your bowling average at least by a fraction. Let’s take a look at some of the different kinds of bowling balls and discuss the particular makeup of each ball.

There are four kinds of bowling ball, each having its own distinctive characteristics. Every bowler should know what they are if they want to play the game right.

Plastic or Polyester Bowling Balls

These were probably the first bowling ball after the now-ancient wood or stone balls fell out of use. These plastic or polyester balls are pretty basic in their design. No tricks involved here. If you throw them straight, they’ll go in a straight line. At the same time, if you throw a hook, they’ll also probably go straight. People new to the sport will be pleased with these ones as they are pretty manageable, aren’t tricky, and don’t cost much. As well, people who have trouble with hooks can get some benefit from them.

Urethane Bowling Balls

These bowling balls first came on the scene with the AMF Angle during the early 1980s. They’re able to hook more than their plastic counterparts, giving them a somewhat more manageable disposition. They’re the next best thing for beginners and should be used once they start looking for a ball that’s more advanced.

Reactive Bowling Balls

Reactive bowling balls were first seen in 1990. They’ve got even better traction than do the urethane ones, and have got a more pronounced hook. After the skid effect, the hook will be apparent with these ones. You can easily identify these balls by their cover texture: it’s slick and smooth.

Particle Bowling Balls

Here’s some of the newest technology in bowling balls. These particle balls have a unique kind of texture: they’re a little lumpy. This allows them to catch the surface of the lane, which is oily. This ball is the most sensitive to lane conditions, and it will minimize the more extreme effects of them (e. g. lots of oil or very dry conditions).

Hopefully, this review of the various types of bowling balls has provided you with a bit of insight on all the different kinds of ball. Pick out the best one for you and the way you play. Alternately, use a different kind for different situations. You’ll learn that certain balls can be really useful when used at the right time.

Honduras casinos

The Republic of Honduras is situated in Central America and shares borders with Guatemala, El Salvador, and Nicaragua, with a shoreline to the Pacific Ocean to the south, the Gulf of Honduras and the Caribbean Sea to the north. This beautiful, exotic country shares the unmistakable charm and mystique that all Central and South American countries carry with rich culture, history, and traditions.

One such tradition in Honduras is gambling, which is legal and practiced in three casinos across the country situated in La Ceiba, San Pedro Sula, and the capital Tegucigalpa. All three Honduras casinos are also hotel resorts. The casino in Tegucigalpa, called the Honduras Maya Hotel & Real, is probably the most visited by tourists and locals; it offers six table games dedicated to blackjack, poker, and roulette, as well as 45 slot machines. The Honduras casino resort also offers a hotel with 200 rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, health club, cocktail lounge, and a shopping arcade with different hours than those of the casino.

The Honduras casino situated in the city of San Pedro Sula is known as Hotel Copantl Sula & Casino Copantl, and as the name suggests, it is a hotel resort, as well. The gambling facilities of this casino include eight table games dedicated to blackjack, poker, and roulette, as well as ten slot machines. The hotel has 205 rooms and suites, a restaurant, a coffee shop, a bar, health club with sauna facilities, a swimming pool, and tennis court, as well.

The third Honduras casino situated in La Ceiba is also the smallest of them all. All Honduras casinos enforce the rule of 18 years or more in order to gamble, and the same applies for consumption of alcoholic beverages. Though not always required, it is advised to carry recent photo identification with you when visiting a casino. Spanish is the official language in Honduras, but English is widely spoken in tourist frequented places such as casinos, hotels, restaurants, and bars.

There are other gambling activities available in Honduras, but only casinos are legal and therefore it is not advised to engage in other such activities. The Honduras casinos periodically will make gambling lessons available to initiate those who are new to a particular game or the gambling world.

Carbohydrate counting - is it really necessary

New diet fads spring up seemingly everyday, well maybe not quite everyday, but every couple of years a new diet fad pops up that grabs everybody's attention. It doesn't matter who you are, eating a healthy diet is an essential part of your daily routine and money making diet fads don't have to be part of that.

Most diets encourage you to start carbohydrate counting; with the premise that cutting out carbohydrates will help you burn fat and build muscle. However this is not entirely correct, as not all carbohydrates are created equal. So before you start carbohydrate counting and cutting your carbs, you need learn the difference between good carbohydrates and bad carbohydrates and the easiest way to do this is with the glycemic index.

Your body requires carbohydrates to survive, to enable it to carry out its normal daily functions. So steer clear of any diet that recommends you cut carbohydrates out of your diet completely. But you should avoid bad carbohydrates which carry a high glycemic index rating and ideally you should aim to eat foods with a low glycemic index rating, foods such as pasta, green vegetables, whole grain foods and oats.

Doctors and nutritionists regularly use the glycemic index to help explain in simple terms how carbohydrates are broken down and used by the body. It is an easy to understand rating system, which uses a scale of zero to one hundred. If you are serious about burning off fat and losing weight it essential you understand the glycemic index and how foods are rated.

So how is the Glycemic Index Rating Calculated?

The ratings are calculated based on the rate of digestion of the particular food. For example foods which are digested quickly have a high rating, while foods which are digested slowing are assigned a lower rating.

This is important because foods which are digested quickly cause a spike in blood sugar levels as the sugars from the foods are absorbed into the blood stream fast. This stimulates a release of insulin causing the sugars to be stored in the body as fat. It also has implication for diabetics who can not control their blood sugars levels. In contrast foods with a lower rating cause a gradual rise and fall of blood sugar levels, which is much safer and healthier for the body and thus less sugar is stored as fat. Therefore these types of food are ideal after a workout to reload your muscles with carbohydrates before your next session.

In an ideal world it would be useful to have the glycemic index rating published on all food labels to raise awareness among the general public. However you need to take it up on yourself to do your own research. There is nothing to stop you carbohydrate counting, however don't ever cut out carbohydrates completely. With the right goals, training advice and nutrition plan you really can get the body of your dreams.

Cleaning rc motors

Owning an electric RC car is just like raising a child or can be compared to having a pet. All that is needed to keep a child (or a pet) safe from all sorts of diseases or sickness is to make sure that the child eats a lot of vitamin-rich food. Also, regular check up and exercises is a secondary requirement.

As for RC cars, they need proper and regular check ups too. This means that the RC motor has to be cleaned regularly as well so the machine works on its top most speed and performance.

In terms of cleaning the motor of your RC car, you need to use a motor spray so the dirt and excess carbon deposits in the motor are removed. A high quality type of motor spray should do the trick. Do not forget to use oil for lubricating each of your car and motor's bearings.

With brushes, it is also adamant that you are keen in checking it if it already needs replacement. A worn out brush which remains in used for your RC motor could possibly cause you the top performance you've been trying to achieve and maintain. So by the time the tip of the brush which is in contact with the commutator of the motor becomes the shade of violet, better replace it with a new one. Be sure though that before replacing an old brush with a new one, the commutator's overall condition should be round and smooth.

The same thing goes with the motor's brush as well as with the springs. With springs, the tension should always be there, the same way it was when it was still brand new. You can either opt for a spring tension checker so you can use it regularly or replace the springs the same time when you replace the brushes.

For a better maintenance approach, you can clean out the dirt and other unnecessary deposits in your motor after each run. This does not make you an obsessive-compulsive person but maintaining your RC motor this way is a lot better.

What matters in maintaining a RC motor for your RC car is you understand that all motors will lose their brand new and impressive performance over time. What you can do is just make sure that you clean and spend money for it to keep it running as if you just bought it yesterday.

Betfair race trading part 3 stops spreads the rules and the reality

There are certain personality traits evident in all the best traders, whether on Stocks or Sports.

FACT: Not everyone is cut out to be a trader. Trading requires a certain personality type and attitude.

• You must be firm, logical assertive and decisive.

• You must be willing to accept and learn from your mistakes.

• You must be able to follow a system and accept the rules without question.

• You must be aggressive and quick in following your predictions.

• You must be humble enough to realize that you must NEVER fight the market.

• You must be able to accept LOSS without judgment or self loathing.

These are personality traits which can to some degree be learned, in that trading can be taught by a set of rules, but the core personality is either there or it is not.

The other thing which is always missing from trading manuals is:

The reality of trading “profits”

Your days profit will be defined by the profits from trading decisions you make that move in the correct direction minus the losses you make from trading decisions you make that turn against you minus the sales commission taken by the broker or the commission on profit taken by the exchange.

What is essential in trading is the insight to see quickly when a trade is going against you and work to a system that activates a “Stop Loss” at a set predetermined level that you MUST stick to.

As I talked about previously due to the extreme volatility of horse prices, what can be an early morning steamer can be a pre-race drifter with news coming out of the stable or via the trainer.

And particularly so when the horses start warming up, “going down”, and the on-course professionals get their first look at the runners and riders.

You HAVE to accept this as part of the sport. If you have already backed the horse and it starts drifting, you HAVE to Lay it off when the price reaches your predetermined Stop Loss.

You can of course leave a trade alone once it moves against you, and pray that your horse wins or loses depending on whether you opened with a Back or a Lay, but this strategy is a form of recreation known as “Gambling” which is a different kettle of fish altogether.

In setting a Stop Loss it is important to understand the concept of Market Spread.

In Stock Market terminology the “Buy” price of any given stock is always higher than the “Sell” price at all times. So it can be seen that the Sell price has to move to a significant enough degree that it is higher than the Buy price you paid in order for you to make any profit at all.

The difference between the “Buy” price and the “Sell” price is the Market Spread.

The situation is analogous but slightly different with Betfair.

You will see that at any given time the Lay price is higher than the Back price and so the Back price has to move to a significant enough degree that it is higher than the Lay price you paid, or conversely, the Lay price must move such that it is lower than the Back price you paid in order that your trade can possibly make any profit.

In reality we tend to work in such a manner that we are looking to Back horses at what appear to be unjustifiably long odds and hope that the horse begins to “steam” in, making the price shorten as more money comes in to Back it.

This will simultaneously pull the Lay price down with it and we can “Lay the horse off” to lock in a guaranteed profit, as I will demonstrate later.

As you learn to trade you will begin to notice that you win more than you lose as you start instinctively identifying and following common patterns.

As you become more experienced at spotting trends you will spot patterns earlier and act on them more quickly and more decisively.

I think it is important to remember that when you are winning you are taking money from punters who are less experienced and see the patterns too late or haven’t the insight to act on current available data, or have just made an incorrect decision on an event.

It may sound harsh, but that’s trading, and if you don’t win there is only one other option available.

• Fact 1: Betfair pays on average 15-20% higher odds than traditional bookmakers.

• Fact 2: More people make a profit on Betfair than they do with traditional bookmakers.

• Fact 3: Losing punters lose less money with Betfair than they do with traditional bookmakers.

• Fact 4: Between 80 and 90% of people using Betfair STILL lose money overall.

Yes, there it is, for all the internet hype, the bravado, the marketeers with their egos telling you this and that about the “Pot of Gold” that is Betfair and the Betting Exchanges.

The truth lies somewhere in the 4 facts above as stated.

By making statements about the “Pot of Gold” they are boosting liquidity via inquisitive short and medium term punters who are either transient or go on to get hooked.

Believe you me, this stuff is powerful, addictive and groundbreaking.

The technology is very advanced, reliable, exciting and innovative.

Because of the liquidity which it generates, even traditional on-course bookies and the large high street chains are using Betfair to hedge against large losses while on course when their books drift out of balance.

Watch the huge wagers coming in one minute before the off. This is the real big players and the bookies balancing their books.

It is very important to remember that trading is still essentially gambling.

Although you are not directly betting on the winner or loser of a race, you are still gambling that a price will move in the direction predicted, if you get it wrong your trade can only possibly lock in a loss rather than a profit meaning essentially that you have lost before the race has even started.

This is a particularly unenviable situation to experience. These are the type of occasions when you will see red and start making rash, uninformed decisions on nags that have 2 hopes. Bob and No!

Chasing your losses will only lead to the poor house, but we have all done it. If you cannot handle LOSS then you are the wrong personality type for trading or any other form of gambling and should keep your money in a high interest savings account.

If you make ill considered wagers, like anywhere else, you will lose money and if you are losing a lot of money the attraction will soon wear off, and Betfair will STOP being fun and profitable.

Who are the 10 -20% of winners and what are their common features?

•They are full or part time professionals

•They are experienced recreational gamblers

•They are often traders using all the tips, tricks, information resources and experience at their disposal.

•They often use powerful hardware and professional custom software and are prepared to lose money initially to learn their trade.

•They may use Satellite Information Services to watch the events live and gain an extra edge.

•They practice, hone and develop their skills and learn from their own mistakes.

•They practice a “series” of rigid systems that DO NOT ALLOW FUN BETS.

•They perfect their skills on one system and one sport before moving onto another.

So why Trading, rather than Dutching, Backing or Laying?

In my next article I will outline the various betting mechanisms available through Betfair, why they are so exciting and innovative, and why a lot of punters looking for long term profitability often come back to Trading.

There are punters doing well with Dutching Backing and Laying, but as I said before these strategies are more generally known as “Gambling”.

Gambling is innately a higher risk, higher reward, and higher octane type of strategy that I will be talking about in the future.

What I want to concentrate on first is “Trading”.

I will talk about the psychology behind online gambling and the discipline required to become one of the 20 % rather than the 80 %.

I will then move onto the rules of my Trading System that will enable you to start scalping, trading and hedging on Betfair to beat your opponents and set up an artery pumping cash directly from their account to yours.

How do i swing a golf club

Here it is! Your first, most basic step on your way to the golfing hall of fame. The first thing to learn is how to swing a golf club.

Now, we can talk about the biomechanics of the golf swing; about resistance and G-force, the single plane vs. the double plane approach, go into detail with the physics and equations of the golf swing... but first, the most basic and universal piece of advice anybody can give you for your golf swing:

The golf swing is actually a natural motion, and once you know how to do it, it's just like breathing. Don't get intimidated by all the jargon and mathematics. The most important thing, as any pro golfer will tell you, is to take a deep breath, relax and let the golf swing do its thing.

Having said that, let's look at how you swing the golf club, step by step and broken down.

Get A Grip

First, hold the club straight in front of you, just about perpendicular, with your right hand. Now, wrap your left hand around it. The club should be resting on the pads of the inside of your fingers, the digit closest to the palm, and the palm. You may hold your left hand at a little bit of an angle, so that the middle digit pad of your index finger is in contact with the club. Do whichever feels most comfortable to you. Your thumb should rest on top, pointing along the shaft of the club.

Now, re-wrap your right hand above your left hand on the shaft. You have your left hand wrapped around the shaft with your palm and base finger digits, right? Well, you should be holding the club with the right hand chiefly with your fingers. It should be just above the left hand and your right thumb should stick a little to the right.

The grip is a little tough to master, and there are a variety of ways to do it. There isn't really a "right" way, just go with what's best for you.

The Right Golf Stance

If your stance isn't right, your entire swing will be ruined. You have to get the stance just right, and it takes practice. If your stance (also called "address") is good, the swing will be a natural fluid movement. It will take some work at first, but over time, you can work on perfecting your stance.

For starters, make sure you're balanced. You should have your weight evenly distributed on both feet. Have you ever seen golfers wiggle their butts back and forth before taking a shot? They look stupid, but they're checking their balance. Make sure it's as even as possible!

Your front foot should be just ahead of where your ball is. Your legs should be shoulder-length or a little further apart. If you drew a line across the tips of your toes, it should lead directly to your target.

Keep your back straight, but relaxed. Keep your chin up. Most importantly, be comfortable.

It's Go-Time!

Now, twist at the torso and lift the club with your arms. You should coil up like your body is a spring, and you should be swinging down at the ball.

Most importantly, don't swing with your arms. Wind up, and then gently unwind your body, starting with the lower back and torso, then the shoulders, and finally let the wrists release a little bit at the end.

Don't swing too fast! Faster doesn't mean farther. Your swing should be smooth and natural, not forced and tense.

The swing is really just the final part. The grip and address are considered by most golfers to be much more important in determining a swing's success.

It's really hard to get the right swing without some one on one training. Go golfing with some buddies and don't just spend your time practicing and getting whipped; pick their brains on strategies and swing technique, and most of all, be observant. Finally, keep track of your mistakes and always look for ways to improve. That's how the pros did it.

How to play texas hold em poker

Today Texas hold em has become the most popular of all poker games that a person is able to play today around the world. This game is not only played in casinos around the world but it is now available to many online as well. The great thing about this game and all games of poker is it provides the player with a chance to think and use strategies to outwit their opponents. However in this article we will be taking a quick look at how to play Texas hold em.

Firstly before the game actually begins and the cards are to be dealt a betting limit will be established. In every case the highest bet a person can place will double that of the minimum bet that has been set prior to the start of the game.

The player who sits on the left of the dealer will then post (place/put up) a “small blind” bet. This bet will be about Ѕ of what the minimum bet is. Whilst the player to the left of this player will then post the “big blind” bet which is the same as the minimum bet already agreed to at the beginning of the game.

The dealer now deals 2 cards to each player who is taking part and they must be face down. Once these have been dealt then the betting can begin. The first player to make a bet is the one who is to the left of the player who posted the big blind bet. As they go around the table then each player can decide whether they call (stay on the same bet), raise (bid higher) or fold (they take themselves out of the game). However all bets that are placed during this stage must be the same as the minimum bet level.

Next the dealer will deal 3 cards (called the flop) which are placed face up in the middle of the table. These are known as the community cards and which can be used by all the players.

Once these have been dealt then another round of betting will take place and this time it starts with the first player (active) who is still in the game and is to be found to the left of the dealer.

After this round of betting has been completed another community card is dealt face up by the dealer and then the third round of betting can commence. Upon completion of this round of betting the fifth and last community card will be dealt by the dealer (again face up) on to the table. Then after this card has been dealt the final round of betting with those players that are still in the game commences. Again the betting will commence with the player that is still active in the game and to the left of the dealer.

Now that the final round of betting has taken place in the game those left in the game will then determine who is the winner by looking at the cards that each player has. Above we have shown you in very brief detail how to play Texas hold em. But there are plenty of sites on the internet which could provide you with more detailed information with regard to this subject.

Woodworking with your kids

Some families watch television, others like to play sports. But you are a woodsman and your child loves to copy you! So how can you safely include your children in your woodworking activities? It’s simple. Before letting your child touch any of your woodworking tools, you must have a safety talk with them. Let them know which tools they are able to touch, such as the hammer, nails and other non sharp and non electrical items. You don’t ever want your young child to operate a saw or a drill. They may think they don’t need you around to use it, so just avoid giving them that habit all together.

After you have a safety talk with your child about your woodwork shop and its tools, you can begin to show them how each of the tools work. Many like to begin with simple tasks such as sanding wood or holding the drill. But before you begin, you and your child need to decide on what project you will want to work on together. There are many things you could make that will actually come in handy or that will be fun for your child after creating it. Such as a wooden horse that rocks, a doll house, tree house or a car.

Once you choose the project, you can then show your child which tools will be necessary for the job and why. Have them hand you each tool – make sure to call each one by its correct name – so that they can learn while watching. After they thoroughly understand how you are using each of the woodworking tools, you can allow them to help out a little more by letting them make some decisions and do some of the work. Depending on their age, you may not want to give them access to a saw or drill. An appropriate age would be ten, when they are less clumsy and can grasp the aspects of the danger that the tools can cause.

Another option for your younger children is to buy them a child-sized tool kit. This will give them courage and confidence in helping you. Having their very own toolbox is very encouraging for them. You can also let them put the pieces together or fill in the holes that you drill, for instance if you are making a wooden rack to hang keys or coats, you can drill the hole, while your child places the hooks into them.

After finishing the creation of your project, the real fun begins. Bring out the painting tools and enjoy in a family time of fun and creativity. This should be placed in the hands of the child, since most love to decorate with colors. If this is their first time painting, you should show them how to neatly brush the paint onto the wood in straight lines in the same direction. But allow them to choose the colors and where they go.

When your project is fully complete, congratulate them! Make them feel like it was their work that made the wood what it is now. This will open up a door for them to want to create new things. You never know, they may come up with an award winning invention!

The most essential techniques of shaolin kung fu

Shaolin Kung Fu is one of the most popular and respected martial arts because of its history and realistic applications. However, Shaolin Kung Fu is very complicated and has a lot of moves to learn. Using a Shaolin training DVD can help a practicing martial artist learn the moves and techniques in their own home and have the movements captured on video to be seen again and again. It is hard to pick up moves from only a few demonstrations, and a teacher rarely has enough free time to live with you and show you techniques any time you wish. With a Shaolin training DVD you can review techniques and movements until you have them down.

Shaolin Kung Fu is an External form of Chinese Kung Fu. This means that it deals with the hands, the feet, the body, the eyes, and the stances. It is practical, and physical. The Internal forms of Chinese Kung Fu deal with the mind, heart, and spirit. Shaolin Kung Fu pays special attention to stretching and using stretching to develop speed, range of motion, and defensive tactics. The different advantages of each stance are also very important. Using a Shaolin training DVD you can review the different stances, pause the DVD, and make sure you have the stance in your muscle memory like it is second nature.

Different forms can be used in different situations and used to react to the movements of the opponent or attacker. With so many difference stances and forms, many students find that there is a lot to remember mentally, and a lot for the muscles to have to remember as well. This is why a Shaolin training DVD can be such a big help. It allows you to go back and review any stances or information that your body has trouble remembering, or your mind has trouble recalling quickly.

There are many slight variations of Shaolin Kung Fu and they can contain everything from punching, kicking, throws, joint locks, grappling, and weapons training. Having a teacher to go over the moves with you is a huge help. Sometimes it is impossible for a student to know if they are doing a motion correctly without a teacher to help them and explain what they are doing wrong. But when your teacher is not there, a Shaolin training DVD can be the next best thing and can allow you to review movements as much as you want.

I really like the Kung Fu: Shaolin Kung Fu Foundation Form DVD because it breaks the moves down so they are easy to understand and replicate. The DVD explains the reasoning behind the movements so that I can make sure I am doing a move functionally correct. The Kung Fu: Shaolin Kung Fu Foundation Form DVD can help a beginner, or an experienced martial artist.

Tips for choosing the perfect rifle scope

The task of choosing a new rifle scope isn't the easiest thing in the whole world. Over the last few years there have been so many new scopes released to the market it can make choosing a new one very, very tough. Each new scope claims to be superior to all other scopes in terms of precision and accuracy. On top of that a good rifle scope doesn't come cheap - many of them are several hundred dollars. Just remember a high price tag does not always equal a high quality scope. There are some simple tips you can follow to avoid being taken for a ride when buying your new scope.

Always be on the lookout for slick advertising when it comes to making a purchase. That glossy cover photo on the magazine says nothing about the actual product itself. Always read the fine print in the sales material before making any decision. Watch for accurate comparisons when you're reading any scope reviews or scope tests. Just like you can’t compare an apple with an orange and get an accurate comparison you defintely can’t compare a 32mm objective lens scope with a 50mm variable power scope and get an accurate idea of whether one is necessarily better than the other. Look for scopes that are comparably reviewed based on price, objective size, intended use and power range - these are critical factors.

A key item on any scope shopping list should be the warranty itself. Never assume that all warranties are created equal - this is so very far from the truth. Most scopes come with what's called a limited life warranty but make absolutely certain that you know exactly what is covered by this type of warranty in case something does go wrong (which eventually it will). Also check exactly how long the warranty is and whether or not you need to be the original scope owner in order to be covered by the scope warranty itself.

It's also worth paying attention to the amount of internal adjustment that a scope can offer. Most people don't think about this until after the purchase and are then disappointed. Also look at the type of rifle you're going to fit the scope to. For example, if your rifle is particularly hard to mount, you may find yourself in a situation in which you don’t have nearly the amount of range that you thought you did. When you’re not able to mount the scope straight on, you lose a lot of range. Look for scopes that provide a wealth of adjustment, preferably at least 60 inches or more.

Last but not least don't forget to seriously consider the actual assembly of the scope body itself. Bear in mind that your scope is most likely going to be subjected to rough treatment on a regular basis. Taking the time to take this into consideration now will serve you well and save you money later on.

Using a video to learn table tennis

Table tennis, playfully called ping pong, is an exciting sport that can be difficult, but rewarding to play. In table tennis, players, typically one on one, or pair against pair, score by keeping a hollow ball air bound. They do this by hitting the ball with their paddles from one opponent’s side to the other, allowing the ball to bounce on the table or against the back of their rackets. If the ball is not hit while it is in the capacity of one team to hit it, points may be awarded to the opposing team.

Skill in table tennis comes from a player’s ability to hit the ball at high speeds, and to give it a spin that can make its trajectory difficult to estimate. By combining a spin on the ball, high speeds, and knowledge of the opponent’s weak spot, the best table tennis players can win their matches, sometimes by virtue of tiring their opponents out.

If you are interested in learning table tennis, studying the physics behind it, or training to be a skilled professional player, you will need to see the sport being played. Competitions, however, are rare, and can be difficult to go to if you do not have the time or money to watch a table tennis game. As a result, several companies have developed training videos designed to teach the game at different levels.

A table tennis video offers you the opportunity to learn the physics of the sport, as well as to apply this knowledge in training. A table tennis video will be able to give you information on the following aspects of table tennis.

• The table tennis racket may appear to simply be a paddle with two rubber sides, but its construction greatly affects the outcome of a game. A table tennis video will introduce you to the different kinds of mats or rubber sheets that you can attach to your racket, also known as the bat. By customizing your bat, you can select the surfaces that provide the best spin and speed that you want your ball to have.

• The racket surface is not the only determinant of a ball’s speed and trajectory. How you hold the bat can also be important, and a table tennis video will show the various ways by which you can hold your bat. For instance, the pen hold method allows you to grip the bat the way you would hold a pen. This gives you great control over your racket, although you will have to train yourself to spin your bat easily should you need to use the other side of it. Other grips include the shake hand and the V-grip, both of which have their own advantages and disadvantages.

A table tennis video will show you how these grips can change the outcome of the game. Although a good grip alone will not let you win, you will need to find a grip with which you are comfortable before you can play table tennis.

• A table tennis video will also show you how to carry out footwork, maintain your balance, and keep a good table tennis posture. While watching the video, you should practice moving, so that you can warm yourself up for the game.

• A table tennis video will also explain the rules of the game, as well as modifications to the rules that are used in different countries.

Table tennis is a sport that can be more exciting to play if you know the physics, history, and rules of it. Whether you are studying the sport as a student, or as a prospective player, a table tennis video may help you in realizing your goals.

Cautions when deep sea fishing

Deep sea fishing is a sport that is not for everyone. But for others who take the time to have a deep sea fishing experience, it can be quite rewarding. After all, for some this is like the snowboarding of the fishing world – the “extreme sport.” The adrenaline rush you get as you pull that swordfish or marlin over the side of the boat is unmatched by any other experience.

Before you decide to go on a deep sea fishing expedition, you should consider a few things to determine whether or not this type of activity is a good idea for you. For example, you may not be cut out for deep sea fishing if you tend to get motion sickness easily. If you are unsure of how well you can handle the waves of the open water, try an inexpensive, short excursion first to test your sea legs. Usually you can charter a one or two hour ride offshore that will take you out a mile or so to experience the feeling of the ocean so you can make your determination if you can handle the waves.

When deep sea fishing, you will be in a location where land is not in sight, so you will need to determine if that bothers you. Often, when you get out to sea about ten miles or more, you lose sight of the shoreline. If this thought frightens you, deep sea fishing may not be your sport and you may want to consider a different type of fishing activity. The deep sea where the biggest fish can be caught will only be in a location that is far from the coastline.

Another consideration for deep sea fishing is the amount of time you will be in the sun. You will be in direct sunlight that is also bouncing back at you off the glassy water surface. This could be putting you at risk for sunburn. There is usually no cover from the heat that will be beating down on you all day. It is true that most charter boats have cabins in which you can find shelter from the sun, however, you can’t fish from inside. You may want to reconsider making the trip if you are fair skinned or sunburn easily or are especially susceptible to dehydration or heat stroke. If you do decide to go, whether or not you expect to be affected by these ailments, take with you strong SPF sunblock, a hat, and plenty of water. Charters will usually provide water for you as well, but take your own also.

If you are prepared, deep sea fishing can be the thrill of a lifetime. Don’t be put off by the special considerations that must be taken into account. Simply be cautious and be prepared, but go out and enjoy yourself!
